Round, Round, Round, Round

Headin’ down the highway, goin’ on vacation.
Two little children and a big black dog, fightin’ in a station wagon
Mama, mama, pass me the cup and roll your window down,
There’s a station, lets fill up and watch the kids go “round, round, round, round.”

We came up the coastline, crossed the Cascade Mountains.
Twenty one hours, driven right straight through, it’s a wonder we’re still movin’.
Mama, mama, gotta wake up and help me find a town.
One of my eyes is all messed up, the others goin’ round, round, round, round.

Little sister wake your brother, wake that big black dog, we’re almost there.
Find the motel, flip the light on, meet the morning sun and the country air.
We’ll play in the country, picnic in the shade.
Get laid back with a root beer soda pop and look at what God made.

Mama, mama, gotta get gassed, my gauge is goin’ down.
There’s a station, but we went passed.
I guess we’d better turn round, round, round, round.
Round, round, round, round.

Raven’s Call

High in a tree on a mountain top
A big black bird takes time to stop
And rest his wings from the search he’s on
And give out a Raven’s call.

The world looks different from his birds eye view
He doesn’t look at life the way we do
His love for things both big and small
Is hidden in his Raven’s call

The Raven calls and I hear my name
When he spreads his wings, I wanna do the same
With a watchful eye, riding on the wind
The Raven’s call takes me home again.

I often hike through this wonderland
It helps my spirit find itself again
When I’m tired and about to fall
I hear the Raven’s call.

The Raven calls and I hear my name
When he spreads his wings, I wanna do the same
With a watchful eye, riding on the wind
The Raven’s call takes me home again.

Life is a journey of lessons to learn
Paths that cross with twists and turns
Just when I think that I’ve seen it all
I hear the Raven’s call.

The Raven calls and I hear my name
When he spreads his wings, I wanna do the same
With a watchful eye, riding on the wind
The Raven’s call takes me home again.

Dream Catcher

Suzy, the dream catcher,
Pinky in his hot air balloon,
Set out to find the man in the moon.

Surely they know better,
The essence of a rainbows hue,
Sandcastles fly, and hearts are blue.

Dreamers, dream, on and on and on,
Running with the wind to catch the sun,
A dreamers work is never , never, done.

High five the old rain man,
As he passes in his run away train,
The chances are, you won’t see him again.

Waving to the children,
Like the dew on the pedal of a rose,
It slowly appears and then it goes.

Dreamers, dream, on and on and on,
Running with the wind to catch the sun,
A dreamers work is never , never, done.

Picture the floating cloud,
As seen through the eyes of a child,
Flowers and trees going wild.

Their visions go on for miles,
It creates the laughter, and pain in the smiles,
I see them too, dreaming dreams.

Dreamers, dream, on and on and on,
Running with the wind to catch the sun,
A dreamers work is never , never, done.

Butterfly

One day, a little butterfly,
Came to rest and set down by me,
Where she met a caterpillar,
She said, “Someday you’ll be,
A butterfly, butterfly, like me.”

Then she said, “I do remember now,
A long time ago, as if in a dream,
I too, was a caterpillar,
Longing to be,
A butterfly, butterfly, like me.”

When the cold winds blow your heart around,
And the winter snows have got you down,
And all that’s left is just a dream,
Then comes spring.

Someday, I’ll be a butterfly,
I’ll fly away, and float on the wind,
If by chance, I meet a caterpillar,
I’ll know just what to say,
“Someday you’ll be a butterfly, a butterfly like me.”

When the cold winds blow your heart around,
And the winter snows have got you down,
And all that’s left is just a dream,
Then comes spring.

“Someday you’ll be a butterfly,
Just wait and see,
A butterfly, a butterfly, like me.”
